Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Representative for a full-time Sales and Business Development role. This position primarily focuses on cultivating and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, conducting presentations, and negotiating contracts. The position is based in our Topeka office but offers the flexibility to serve clients across the surrounding areas, including Manhattan, Lawrence, and Northeast Kansas. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, with potential earnings ranging from $50k to $100k annually.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and manage client relationships to drive new business opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations and effectively negotiate contracts.
- Generate new leads through outreach, cold calling, and business development efforts.
- Regularly meet with clients in the Topeka and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, ideally in business products, office supplies, furniture, or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Familiarity with IT solutions and services is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 base per year, plus commission and bonuses. Potential to earn between $50k and $100k annually based on performance.
