SUMMIT Early Learning is looking for dependable, caring individuals to join our Lewisburg Children’s Center team in a permanent part-time classroom support role.
This isn’t an on-call substitute position. You’ll have a set weekly schedule and help provide classroom coverage where you’re needed within the center. Depending on our staffing needs, schedules may look like 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., or another consistent schedule.
This could be a great fit for a parent looking to work while their children are in school, someone easing back into the workforce, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work without evenings or weekends.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll be part of our center team, helping teachers and children throughout the day. You may:
Assist in different classrooms as needed
Help maintain required staff-to-child ratios
Provide coverage for lunches, breaks, meetings, and staff absences
Support classroom routines, activities, meals, and transitions
Help create a safe, positive and caring environment for children
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience working with young children.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in various childcare classrooms as assigned, following agency and child care regulations. The center sub is utilized to cover absences and is assigned in different classrooms as needed. Monday through Friday, daytime hours.

HOURS & SALARY: Part-time | Monday–Friday | Daytime hours
Set AM or PM schedule based on center needs and your availability. No evenings or weekends.
$15.56–$17.40/hour, based on experience and education. Rate of pay based on experience:
2 years’ experience : $15.56/hour
CDA: $16.81/hour
Associate or Bachelors Degree: $17.40/hour E.O.E
