Afternoon Assistant Teacher (Part-Time)
Summit Early Learning Center is looking for caring, dependable individuals who have a heart for children and enjoy being part of a supportive team. As an Afternoon Assistant Teacher, you'll play an important role in helping our classrooms end each day smoothly. You'll support our lead teachers by creating a calm, organized environment while building positive relationships with children and families.
Responsibilities
- Assist children as they prepare to go home.
- Help supervise children during afternoon activities and outdoor play.
- Support the lead teacher during parent pick-up and ensure safe, positive transitions.
- Clean and sanitize classroom materials and surfaces.
- Empty trash, tidy the classroom, and prepare the room for the next day.
- Work as part of a collaborative team to create a welcoming and joyful environment.

Schedule
Monday–Friday | 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 1:30-5:30
Pay
$16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience.
