Responsibilities
- Lead project development, design and production throughout all phases of the project
- Facilitate client, consultant & contractor coordination and regulatory approval processes
- Development, delegation and quality and budget control of all architectural deliverables
- Business development, proposal & contracts negotiations and fee generation
- Integrated Revit modeling and related project document development including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, code analyses and specifications
- Ensure project quality and consistency for profitability and client retention
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants & contractors, and make regular project visits
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project team across multiple offices
- Cultivate and manage new business relationships to support growth in Western NC
- Represent Summit at industry events, conferences, and professional society meetings
- Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Licensed Architect in North Carolina (required)
- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience
- Displayed experience independently managing and producing architectural projects
- Displayed experience in design, detailing, building systems, codes and construction techniques
- Displayed experience managing clients, consultants and project budgets
- Displayed experience with architectural practice and project delivery
- High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe CS and MS-office
- Strong creative, problem-solving and technical skills
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as within a virtual setting.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
