Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Employ Civil 3D, Deed Reader Pro, and other software to draw surveys, plats, topographic maps, and worksheets; and create surfaces and points.
- Utilize GIS for property research.
- Ability to research rights-of-way, easements, and deeds from the Register of Deeds and other sources.
- Draw As-builts and be able to compare to the plans.
- Determine buffers and setbacks.
- Create paperspace layouts as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years Survey Drafting experience is required, or a combination of experience and education such as an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Understanding and application of CAD standards
- Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with surveying terminology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work on a team
