We are searching for an Epidemiology Coordinator to work full time (35 hours per week) Monday through Friday. The Epidemiology Coordinator analyzes, reports, and interprets health-related trends and risk factors impacting our community. This role is essential in shaping public health initiatives through data analysis, community assessment, and ongoing data surveillance. This is a unique opportunity for a public health professional to make an impact through data-driven insights, shaping policies, and promoting health equity in Summit County.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Designing and conducting epidemiologic assessments; converting complex data into clear reports and presentations to support health planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and manage data from local, state, and federal sources for evidence-based health interventions.
- Developing data visualizations using ArcGIS and Microsoft PowerBI and producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for grant funded and community based projects.
- Participating in research projects and supporting the development of the Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan.
- Maintaining data quality and providing technical assistance to internal and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, public health, or related field; 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google products, and experience with data visualization tools (ArcGIS, PowerBI).
- Valid Ohio driver's license and insured vehicle.
