Job Description
This is a full-time role for a Senior Planner/Planner II located in Frisco, CO. The role involves working on complex planning projects, analyzing land use and zoning applications, and assisting with community development initiatives. Other responsibilities include coordinating between departments, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to county codes and regulations. The candidate will also play a role in drafting comprehensive plans, preparing reports, and presenting findings to boards and community groups. The position works closely with community members, partner agencies, and decision-makers to guide thoughtful growth, protect natural resources, and support the long-term sustainability of Summit County.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in land use planning, zoning, and development regulations
- Experience with project management, stakeholder engagement, and community development strategies

- Ability to present findings to boards, commissions, and community groups effectively
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other relevant planning tools
