Summit Commercial Driver's Training is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced CDL School Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of commercial driving regulations and practices. As a CDL School Instructor, you will be responsible for preparing students to pass their CDL exams and become safe, competent commercial drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom instruction on CDL theory and safety regulations.
- Provide hands-on driving training in various types of commercial vehicles.
- Assess students' driving skills and knowledge through tests and evaluations.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state and federal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Ensure all training equipment and vehicles are in good working condition.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their skills.
- Stay updated on the latest industry standards and regulations.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements.
