The Secondary Bible Teacher at Summit Christian Academy plays a vital role in the spiritual and academic development of students by providing biblically grounded instruction within a Christ-centered environment. This individual is responsible for guiding students in their understanding of Scripture, fostering a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and equipping them to apply biblical truth to their daily lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, Scripture-based lesson plans for students that align with Summit Christian Academy’s beliefs, mission, and academic standards.
- Facilitate meaningful discussions that encourage students to think about biblical principles and apply them to real-life situations.
- Create a Christ-centered classroom environment that is welcoming, respectful, and conducive to spiritual formation and academic excellence.
- Intentionally disciple and mentor students, modeling Christ-like character and encouraging their personal faith journey.
- Assess student understanding through a variety of methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support both academic and spiritual growth.
- Partner with parents, faculty, and administration to support student development, addressing academic, behavioral, and spiritual needs as they arise.
- Integrate prayer, Scripture, and biblical worldview into daily instruction and classroom interactions.
