7th Grade Math & Physical Science Teacher

Job Purpose:
- The 7th grade Math and Physical Science Teacher at Summit Christian Academy is responsible for delivering high-quality education with a focus on integrating biblical principles into the curriculum. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans that foster both academic and spiritual growth in students, ensuring they receive a well-rounded education grounded in Christian values.

Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate biblical principles into teaching practices and curriculum to support the spiritual development of students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and the academy's mission.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance the educational experience and address any student needs.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to contribute to the school community and personal growth.
- Uphold the values and mission of Summit Christian Academy in all interactions with students, parents, and staff.

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Required Experience:
- Proven experience in teaching, preferably in a Christian educational setting
- Experience in developing and implementing lesson plans that integrate biblical principles
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and facilitate learning in a dynamic environment

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of biblical teachings and the ability to incorporate them into educational content
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey lessons and interact with students, parents, and staff
