What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Worker / General Laborer position at Summit Careers Inc?
Responsibilities of the Utility Associate:
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines; inspect and sort parts for quality.
- Handle material changes, clear molds, and ensure machines run continuously.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on equipment and work areas.
- Move raw materials and finished products (up to 100 lbs).
Requirements of the Utility Associate:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and prior manufacturing experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and basic math/data entry skills.
- 1st Shift: 7AM-3PM, M-F
Min. Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
- 2nd Shift: 11PM-7AM, Sunday-Thursday
Min. Pay Rate: $18.45 per hour
