Steam/Electrical Maintenance Technician

Summit Careers is currently hiring a Steam/Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team!

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and work on 3-phase power and electrical equipment
• Perform maintenance and repairs on high-speed production equipment
• Work with steam boilers and related components
• Cut and thread black iron pipe manually to make necessary repairs
• Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting
• Assist with light welding and fabrication as needed
• Perform maintenance work safely and efficiently
• Support production by performing additional duties outside the normal scope of work when needed

Requirements:

• Familiarity with 3-phase power and electrical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of steam boilers and components is a plus
• Ability to cut and thread black iron pipe manually
• Light welding and fabrication experience preferred
• General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and painting
• Comfortable working at heights
