Janitorial Supervisor

Summit Building Services is looking for an area supervisor to join our janitorial team! We service commercial buildings in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, New Port Richey, and the surrounding areas You would be assisting with coverage, training new employees, detail work, and assisting with supply orders. 

Full time hours weekly: Monday - Friday 30-40 hours per week varying schedule

Pay: $19.00 hourly 

Duties: 

1. Work with employees to handle all client requests or complaints in a timely manner
2. Supervise, train, motivate, and develop team members
3. Work with HR to ensure all jobs are properly staffed and trained
4. Arrange for coverage in the event of an employee absence
5. Disciplinary action and/ or termination of employees when necessary
6. Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure that specifications are being met
7. Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary
8. Complete work tickets
9. Send reports to Area Manager
10. Recommendation of special project work when needed
11. Complete ongoing education to gain competency in their position
12. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
