Maintenance Day Porter

Great opportunity! Maintenance Day Porter Full time position available in Berkley. Five days a week, Monday - Friday 10am to 6:30pm. (English Required)

Summit Building Services, Inc is looking for new employees to join our Day Porting team. The ideal person will ensure that the company continues to provide professional and quality service; in agreement with all safety, quality, and compliance standards established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.

Essential Responsibilities:

AREAS: Lobbies /Conference rooms/Common areas/Mother’s rooms

1. Restock napkins, snacks and utensils.

2. Refill dispensers as needed.

3. Collect dishes, cups, utensils from all areas throughout office on a routine basis throughout the shift.

4. Clean dishes, cups, pans etc.

1. Spot clean and disinfect touch points, walls, light switches, door surfaces and woodwork.

2. Clean and disinfect countertops and cabinet exterior.

3. Clean and disinfect conference room tables and chairs.

4. Post “WET FLOOR SIGNS”, Clean areas where spills occur, mop as needed.

5. Empty all waste baskets and replace trash liners as needed. (Provided by the Client)

6. Remove trash to allocated dumpster.

AREAS: Zhen Booths

1. Wipe/disinfect clean doors, handles and horizontal counter space.

2. Sweep and mop the floor and vacuum.

AREAS: Break area

1. Empty trash, wipe down exterior and replace liners. (Provided by the Client)

2. Refill dispensers as needed. (Provided by the Client)

3. Spot clean and disinfect countertops.

4. Clean Microwaves inside & outside

5. Wipe tables and chairs free of crumbs.

6. Sweep and mop floors from spills, If applicable

7. Restock snacks as needed.

AREAS: Restrooms

1. Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper and seat cover dispensers. (Provided by the Client)

2. Empty and spot clean all wastepaper receptacles. Replace liners as needed. (Provided by the Client)

3. Clean and polish dispensers.

4. Clean mirror.

5. Clean, sanitize and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilet bowls and seats.

6. Spot clean walls around wash basin.

7. Post “WET FLOOR SIGNS”, Sweep and mop floors as needed.

Report any safety hazards and schedule is subject to change depending on the need from the customers.

· Complete services in a timely fashion while committing to quality of service.

· Hands on deep cleaning, followed by specialty dis-infecting using proper equipment.

· Ensure quality of service is provided to all locations serviced.

Physical Demands:

· The individual may be required to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.

· Individual may be required to lift up to 50 pounds for the majority of the work shift.

Work Environment:

· The work environment has a moderate noise level.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1 or more years of Janitorial/Day Porting/Floor care experience preferred

· Excellent communication skills

Essentials:

Direct experience in the industry

Able to submit to a background check.
