Duties
- Greet clients warmly and handle all front-desk interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently
- Collect payments and perform medical collections accurately while maintaining confidentiality
- Assist with animal husbandry tasks, including kennel management and basic pet care routines
- Support veterinary staff with laboratory procedures, sample processing, and maintaining aseptic techniques
- Handle animal restraint during examinations or treatments, ensuring safety for pets and staff
- Maintain detailed records of pet histories, treatments, and laboratory results using veterinary terminology
- Facilitate pet grooming, dog training sessions, or pet grooming services as needed to enhance client satisfaction
- Manage inventory of medical supplies, including animal catheterization tools and restraint equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about animal health, procedures, or upcoming appointments
Qualifications
- Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal shelters is highly preferred; kennel experience is a plus
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, restraint techniques, and veterinary terminology is essential
- Experience with medical collection processes and laboratory procedures enhances your candidacy
