At Summit Achievement Center (SAC), we provide year-round,1:1 instruction. Our focus is on utilizing behavior-analytic services to develop the individual supports needed for students to reintegrate back in the school environment. With the use of evidence-based practices, SAC aims to produce significant and lasting behavioral and developmental progress. We partner with student’s school districts to provide professional development and training in Applied Behavior Analysis to ensure continued success.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Position hiring for is Full-time (40 hours per week)
Schedule is Monday-Friday (7:15am-3:15pm)
Qualifications And Skills
Implementers are expected to consistently carry out the procedures outlined in each student’s individualized positive behavior support plan while concurrently navigating a student’s daily schedule of skill-building programs aimed at strengthening a student’s social, academic and life skills. The particular types of skills vary based on the student’s level of need.
Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: the ability to work with students with challenging behavior and follow evidence-based behavior intervention plans and/or positive behavior support plans. Other skills needed include knowledge of reinforcement principals, discrimination training, prompt and prompt fading procedures, stimulus control and fading procedures, and generalization and maintenance procedures. Although not required, certification or be willing to get certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) would be desired.
Other Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
Assesses and provides feedback to the BCBA for the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of students' behavior plans. Assists in developing training materials for students.
The position is full-time. The day begins at 7:15am and ends at 3:15 pm. When an Implementer is hired they are required to complete a 60-day probationary period. This is a time of intensive training and evaluation. If successfully completed, a salaried position and benefits are offered based on the Implementer’s education, experience and skill level.

- Implement individualized programming and individualized behavior reduction plans
- Follow appropriate data collection and graphing procedures
- Facilitate appropriate naturalistic teaching opportunities (including but not limited bathing and/or toileting activities, grooming/dressing activities, transfers, and mobility activities, feeding, community integration, etc.)
- Performs maneuvers as required by crisis management procedures, including emergency safety interventions for the purpose of keeping the student, other students, and staff safe.

Qualifications And Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- A general understanding of ABA principles (preferred, but not required)
- Experience working with developmental disabilities/behavioral health
- Ability to immediately apply constructive feedback regarding student programming
- Communicates with supervisory staff and co-workers in a professional manner

- Implements evidence-based behavioral strategies for the purpose of promoting student self-regulation.
- Performs maneuvers as required by crisis management procedures; including emergency safety interventions for the purpose of keeping the student, other students, and staff safe.
