POSITION DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATION
POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Building Services Technician reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the office areas and removes trash on a daily basis; operates in compliance with company safety practices and performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months previous experience preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to address multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual should have the ability to login to read email on an as needed basis
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team environment and self-direct work.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit; walk, talk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Working Environment: The working environment is not climate controlled and is weather permitting. Daily contact with employees in other departments is required.

- Ensures the cleanliness of all office areas on site.
- Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping scrubbing and/or vacuuming them.
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets on an as needed basis.
- Strip, seal finish and polish floors on an as need basis.
- Service, clean and supply all restrooms daily.
- Cleans and polish all furniture and fixtures daily.
- Cleans windows on a bi-weekly basis.
- Leads team and ensures tasks are completed in each area.
- Performs assignments as requested by management.
