- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Provide health education to patients and their families
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care

Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Qualifications & Skills
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey practice
- Prior experience working in an internal medicine or primary care setting
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in EMR and medical documentation
