Summary/Objective
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator fulfills the mission of Summit Academy Management (SAM) by providing essential support to the HR Department.
Essential Functions
- Supports the HR Department in the following areas including, but not limited to:
- Employment Verifications and Student Loan Forgiveness
- Data Entry and Processing
- Requisitions
- Recruiting and New Hire Onboarding
- Database system support
- Maintains content, security, and confidentiality of files and databases
- Assists with updating department forms and Standard Operating Procedures
- Compiles appropriate documentation for and submits department requisitions
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Assists with processing of terminations

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year in an office coordinator or administrator role
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years in an HR coordinator or administrator role
