Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise team members during your shift, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to uphold high quality standards and safety regulations
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Ensure inventory control by monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and minimizing waste
- Train new staff members on food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area in compliance with health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant management within quick service or fast food environments
- Strong background in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in hospitality or food service settings
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food production processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in fine dining, casual dining, catering, or hotel food service is a plus
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and staff development
