The Art Teacher plans and delivers engaging visual arts instruction that inspires creativity, artistic expression, and critical thinking. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of art techniques and mediums, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student growth and self-expression, and preparing students to showcase their work through classroom displays and school or community exhibitions. The teacher collaborates with staff, communicates with families, and supports the overall mission and culture of Summerville High School.
