Summertown Metals of Hopkinsville, a family-owned and rapidly growing company, is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping team member to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout our facility.

This position plays an important role in supporting that standard by ensuring our offices, restrooms, and common areas remain clean, stocked, and well cared for each day.

Position Summary

The Housekeeping team member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of designated areas within the facility. This role helps create a safe, sanitary, and professional environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Essential Functions

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize designated spaces
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Restock paper products, soap, and other facility supplies as needed
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed
• Help maintain an orderly, neat, and presentable environment throughout the facility
• Follow company safety procedures and proper cleaning practices
• Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience is helpful, but not required

Schedule

Monday through Friday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay

$16.00 per hour
