Summertown Metals is looking to staff our new wood truss shop. We are looking for dependable and hard-working individuals to build wood trusses. Job Description: Truss Shop Build Table
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Safely maneuver between cart and build table as they are being loaded.
- Adhering to company policies and standards.
- Assuring the proper measurements of chords and webbing complies with print [engineered drawings]
- Positive communication with other members of the team.
- Daily production quotas or met, this is achieved with other team members.
- Following the build table lead instructions and corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in stocking build table daily for the current or next day’s production.
- Production numbers are met or exceeded.
- Workforce is accident free.
- Downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- The work area is clean and organized.
