Company Description Summers Private Investigations has been in continuous operation since 1994, specializing in insurance fraud surveillance across all of Florida. We also conduct background checks, locates witnesses, and takes recorded statements for a diverse client base. Clients include insurance adjusters, government entities, risk managers, defense attorneys, and similar professionals who rely on accurate, timely investigative work. Role Description This subcontract, on-site Private Investigator role is based in Naples, FL. The Private Investigator will conduct insurance fraud surveillance, background checks, and field investigations in a variety of environments while maintaining detailed, accurate notes. The role involves regular travel within the assigned area, adherence to legal and ethical standards, and coordination with supervisors and clients to ensure timely completion of cases. The investigator will be expected to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Class "C" License with at least 2 years experience
• Strong skills in Investigation and Claim Investigation, with the ability to gather, verify, and analyze case information.
• Experience in Surveillance and Fraud Investigations, including discreet field operations and recorded statements.
• Proficiency in Investigative Reporting, with clear written communication and organized case documentation.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally for on-site assignments.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to private investigations.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Prior experience in insurance investigations, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred.
