Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is hiring an experienced, results-driven HVAC Department Manager to lead our residential HVAC service, sales, and installation teams.

We're looking for a leader who knows how to develop a successful sales team, improve technician performance, increase revenue, and maintain exceptional HVAC installation and service quality.

HVAC Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

• Lead, coach, and develop residential HVAC Sales Technicians to improve closing rates, average tickets, and overall sales performance.

• Identify opportunities to increase HVAC replacement sales, service revenue, and customer satisfaction.

• Conduct weekly sales meetings, individual coaching sessions, and performance reviews.

• Develop technicians' ability to identify homeowner needs, present HVAC solutions, and communicate the value of recommended services.

• Establish clear sales goals, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and hold employees accountable for results.

• Create a motivated, performance-driven team culture focused on growth and continuous improvement.

HVAC Installation & Service Quality

• Oversee residential HVAC installation, replacement, maintenance, and repair operations.

• Ensure HVAC installations and service work meet company quality standards and applicable codes.

• Improve installation efficiency, technician productivity, and overall production quality.

• Reduce callbacks, warranty issues, and installation deficiencies through training and accountability.

• Work with HVAC installers and service technicians to identify opportunities for technical improvement.

• Maintain high standards for workmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Department Performance

• Recruit, train, motivate, and develop high-performing HVAC professionals.

• Provide consistent feedback, coaching, and performance improvement plans.

• Work with Regional Management to develop sales strategies and achieve departmental revenue and profitability goals.

• Collaborate with scheduling, customer service, and installation teams to maximize productivity.

• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional development.

• Experience in HVAC management, residential HVAC sales, service operations, or team leadership.

• Proven ability to coach employees, develop sales skills, and improve performance.

• Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, installations, and service operations.

• Ability to analyze sales performance, identify opportunities, and drive measurable results.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Experience as an HVAC Service Manager, HVAC Sales Manager, HVAC Installation Manager, HVAC Supervisor, or similar leadership position is preferred.
