What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Summerfield Farms (NC)?

SUMMARY: The Bartender is a highly responsible and enthusiastic position that provides excellent guest drinking experience while being a great team player at Summerfield Farms. The Bartender must maintain a high level of daily selling and inventory management within ABC compliance, while ensuring the ability to consistently meet and exceed objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the bar in accordance with our menu and guests requests.
• Maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
• Interacting with customer, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks.
• Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations.
• Responsible for demonstrating skills and ability to close on sales in accordance with Summerfield Farms expectations, standards, and policies.
• Maintain and follow service manual in accordance with the ABC/best serving practices.
• Comply with all health, safety and ALE regulations.
• Responsible for entering and maintaining NCR inventory levels, invoicing, and collections.
• Mastery in multitasking

• Up to date with food and beverage trends • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Check customers’ ID and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and service drinks.
• Computer literacy
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and cleaned.
• Relevant training certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Ability to work outside in the elements.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
