PAID STAGEHAND – IMMEDIATE OPENING
Summer Theatre of New Canaan
The Summer Theatre of New Canaan is seeking an experienced Stagehand to join the backstage crew for our production of Matilda.
Our theatre is located in New Canaan, Connecticut, with convenient access via the Metro-North New Canaan Branch.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with scene changes and backstage operations
- Supporting technical rehearsals and performances
- Working as part of a professional production team
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous backstage or stagehand experience required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced theatrical environment
Required Availability:
- Technical Rehearsals: July 7–9
- Performances: July 10–12, July 17–19, and July 24–26
Compensation: Paid position.
