Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our hotel. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-maintained.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to uphold cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
