WSSD High School Credit Recovery Summer School Program Teaching Positions
The WSSD High School Credit Recovery Summer Program is designed to provide District students that did not receive a passing score in a regular school year course an opportunity to make up the credit. The program will run for four weeks, Monday through Thursday and would be taught by a certified teacher familiar with the curriculum.
Positions Anticipated:
- Teachers certificated in English Language Arts, Math, Biology, or Social Studies
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement instructional program for students
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certificate, as applicable to the position
- Prior experience preferred
- Wallingford-Swarthmore School District employee preferred
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
Schedule:
- June 22 through July 16, 2026 (4 weeks); Monday through Thursday
- 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Note: There will be one mandatory orientation meetings prior to the start of the program
Salary: $45.00 per hour until June 30th and $46.80 per hour starting July 1, 2026 for supporting in person and online programming from June 22 - July 16,2026 (Monday through Thursday)
