COMPENSATION: PER THE ESPA AGREEMENT
LOCATION: SPRINGTON LAKE MIDDLE SCHOOL
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or higher or hold at least forty-eight (48) college credits or High school diploma or equivalent and pass a local assessment test in math and language arts.
- Experience working with primary/intermediate grade special education students.
- Experience with supporting instruction with Project Read; Orton-Gillingham and/or Wilson Reading Systems; Edmark Reading Program, Preventing Academic Failure Program.
- Experience supporting progress monitoring procedures.
- Experience supporting Handwriting without Tears.
- Experience with supporting math programs using manipulatives, such as Math Their Way, Tough Math, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Follow and implement IEPs and PBSP. Collect data on IEP goal areas per teacher. Collaborate with related service providers and teachers. Chunk assignments. Implement prompt hierarchy. Supervise students to ensure a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
