Job Type Description
Berkeley County Schools seeks a qualified, compassionate candidate to work as school nurse in assigned locations and to meet our students' various needs. The successful candidate will also be expected to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The major focus of school nursing services is the prevention of illness and disability and the early detection and correction of health problems while maintaining strict confidentiality. The school nurse is responsible for upgrading and maintaining professional skills.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience.
Qualifications Requirements
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
Bachelors Degree in nursing, RN certification, and holds or can obtain West Virginia Student Support certification as a school nurse.
