Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a school van driver.In this role, you will be responsible for transporting children safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various driving capacities, including shuttle driving, delivery driving, and commercial driving. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain vehicles will be essential to ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles, including shuttles, buses, limousines, and other transport vehicles.
- Provide reliable transportation services to passengers in a timely manner.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on duty.
Skills
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, or commercial driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with passengers and team members.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
