What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summa Smart Start Ambassador - Surgical Technology position at Summa Health?
Responsible for attending work related education and training sessions, performing office functions, and non-clinical duties to assist both patients and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Formal Education Required:
a. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience & Training Required:
a. Six (6) months of work experience interacting with customers or the general public preferred
b. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel and Outlook
3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks at once
b. Ability to work under high volume and fast paced conditions with frequent interruptions
c. High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
d. Ability to work well within a team environment by displaying a positive attitude, accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback; by supporting team goals and encouraging other team members
e. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with general public, employees, department heads, physicians and others contacted in the course of work
f. Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet established deadlines
g. Ability to operate personal computer and other related office equipment
h. Ability to maintain confidentiality
i. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and demonstrates behaviors consistent with the customer service policy
j. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
4. Level of Physical Demands:
a. Lifting: Floor to Standing 10-19 lbs.
