Summary:
Responsible for attending work related education and training sessions, performing office functions, and non-clinical duties to assist both patients and staff.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six (6) months of work experience interacting with customers or the general public preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks at once
- Ability to work under high volume and fast paced conditions with frequent interruptions
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment by displaying a positive attitude, accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback; by supporting team goals and encouraging other team members
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with general public, employees, department heads, physicians and others contacted in the course of work
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet established deadlines
- Ability to operate personal computer and other related office equipment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and demonstrates behaviors consistent with the customer service policy
- Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
