Judd Wire Inc., a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a Web Developer in our Turners Falls, MA facility. Individuals will be responsible for designing, developing and administration of Judd Wire Inc.’s Internet, Extranet and Intranet including: coordinating the content for Web pages throughout the organization; providing technical support for all hardware and software related to the Web and providing backup support for other systems as required.
Hiring Range: $87,883.54 – 120,840.00/yr Exempt

Judd Wire, a Sumitomo Electric Group Company, is a high technology wire company, specializing in the use of electron beam crosslinked thermosets for wire insulation. By applying irradiation crosslinking technology to insulating materials, Judd Wire meets the needs of the wire and cable industry for economical, high-performance products. Judd Wire manufactures electronic wire and cable in over 100 styles recognized by Underwriters Laboratory, Canadian Standards and/or Military Specifications.
Judd Wire's two U.S. based factories are part of the Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. (SEI), the largest manufacturer of wire and cable in Japan that provides Judd Wire with access to their extensive network of research and product development facilities.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Gather, organize, and coordinate content to be published on company websites and other digital platforms. Ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Design and code wed-based applications that cater to the specific needs of the company. Use best practices to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
- Assist in the development of information systems standards and procedures.
- Conduct testing and debugging of web-based applications to ensure they function seamlessly across different systems. Identify and resolve any issues during development process.
- Regularly update and maintain existing web pages and applications to reflect changes in company information. Implement improvements and optimizations.
- Monitor web traffic and performance to identify areas of improvement and ensure optimal website usability and speed. Implement performance optimization strategies to enhance experience.
- Provide expert technical support for software related to web-based systems, such as BPCS and I-Series. Assist users with any issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in timely manner.
- Provide project leadership for large or complex projects.
- Supervise the work of other programmers and/or consultants as necessary.
- Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or instructed by supervisor.
- Must have knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, E-Commerce, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services, cross-browser compatibility, Multimedia Content Development, Web Programing skills, API's
