Corporate EHS Manager

Description Position At Keystone Powdered Metal Company

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Corporate EHS Manager who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the CEO. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs and policies in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations, standards, and guidelines
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence
• Provide EHS training and education to employees at all levels to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations and decision-making processes
• Prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies
• Stay current with EHS trends, regulations, and emerging issues to ensure the company remains at the forefront of EHS excellence
• Manage emergency response plans and coordinate drills and exercises to ensure preparedness
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EHS performance and sustainability efforts
• Schedule, monitor and review safety audits
• Schedule and monitor OSHA required training, first aid training and oversee the administration of the First Responders Program
• Maintain the SDS and Dupont Systems
• Participate in special projects as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety/Environmental Sciences
• Minimum of five years of experience within a manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Excellent organization skills
• Good verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively with employees and insurance providers
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  
  

Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location.
