What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at Sumeru Inc?
- Plan, layout, and fabricate complex sheet metal parts and assemblies (production & experimental).
- Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents to execute tasks.
- Operate tools/equipment: shears, brakes, drills, sanders, mills, lathes, MIG/TIG/spot welding, etc.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and tolerance compliance.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues within established procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Work with minimal supervision; may guide/support other team members.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on fabrication and welding expertise.
- High School Diploma 6 years relevant experience or Associate’s Degree 2 years experience.
