Must-Have Skills:
✔ Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP)
✔ Experience with ETRM systems like RightAngle, Allegro, Endur, OpenLink
✔ Risk Analyst experience in oil & gas commodities
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily P&L & Exposure Reporting: Generate and validate daily P&L and exposure across crude oil, gasoline, distillates, fuel oil, renewables, NGLs
- PnL Attribution & Commentary: Analyze and explain daily P&L movements, identifying risk drivers and market impacts
- Trade & Deal Validation: Ensure accurate trade capture in risk systems and resolve discrepancies with front office & operations
- Curve & Pricing Validation: Verify market curves and pricing inputs for accurate valuations
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with trading, scheduling, accounting, and risk teams for timely reporting and issue resolution
- Process Optimization: Standardize and automate reporting processes, enhance risk systems, dashboards, and analytical tools
- Governance & Controls: Support compliance with policies and regulations
- Team Continuity & Leadership: Provide backup coverage and mentor junior analysts
- Financial Reporting Alignment: Collaborate with FP&A to align mark-to-market P&L with GAAP standards
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
