SumBridge is partnering with a reputable public accounting firm in Auburn, WA to hire an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper. This is a hybrid opportunity ideal for a senior-level accounting professional with strong general ledger (GL) expertise, QuickBooks experience, and knowledge of Washington State tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries
- Identify, reconcile, and resolve general ledger discrepancies
- Prepare and file Washington State taxes, including:
- Payroll tax
- Excise tax
- B&O tax
- Personal property tax
- Ensure financial records are accurate and tax-ready
- Communicate with clients regarding accounting questions and documentation
- Train and support client bookkeepers on best practices
- Mentor junior accounting and bookkeeping staff
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in accounting
- Experience working with multiple clients (public accounting or client-facing environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and retained earnings
- Experience with Washington State Department of Revenue and payroll compliance
- Proficiency with:
- QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online
- Xero accounting software
- Microsoft Excel (advanced) and Word
- Payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, Gusto)
- Sales platforms (Shopify, Square, Amazon, TikTok)
