Viceversa Editions is seeking a Temporary Gallery Director to lead our presentation at SCOPE Miami Beach. This role oversees booth execution, collector engagement, sales strategy, and team coordination for the duration of the fair.
Our focus: limited photographic editions.
Role Overview
As Temporary Gallery Director, you will act as the primary representative of Viceversa Editions at the fair. You’ll manage the booth, guide the installation, engage collectors with fluency and confidence, and coordinate all sales and operational flow throughout the week.
Responsibilities
Lead booth setup, installation, layout, and final presentation
Serve as the main point of contact for collectors, advisors, press, and fair staff
Present artworks with sophistication, clarity, and contextual understanding
Oversee sales conversations, documentation, and post-sale coordination
Maintain an elevated brand presence aligned with Viceversa’s photography-driven and tech-forward identity
Supervise any supporting staff, ensuring smooth operations during all fair hours
Uphold professional standards in appearance, communication, and collector care
Manage edition logistics, including on-site presentation of tokenized certificates and digital clones
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in a gallery, art fair booth, or cultural institution in a leadership or sales-forward role
Strong knowledge of contemporary art and photography
Polished, articulate, and comfortable engaging high-level collectors
Familiarity with digital provenance, NFTs, or willingness to quickly learn the essentials
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Calm under pressure; able to maintain a cohesive, elevated booth atmosphere
Someone who understands the Miami Art Week ecosystem—global, curated, culturally discerning
Compensation
Competitive rate commission based on sales.
