Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for effectively leading Sully’s Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Along with supervising portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
- Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service, including responding to guests' complaints and turning dissatisfied guests into return guests.
- Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
- Follows up with employees on assigned tasks.
- Monitor training of employees during shift
- Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.
- Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
- Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check.
- Must be available for morning, afternoon, evening, and late-night shifts
- Must be available to work weekends and Holidays
- Must be available to work 45-55 hours per week
Salary : $30,000 - $40,000
