Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision and integrity
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a high-energy environment
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus, along with culinary or kitchen experience
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining professionalism
