Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout all food handling and preparation processes
- Execute food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality and presentation
- Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and inventory management to minimize waste
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably as a line cook or culinary assistant
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Experience with the grill
- Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
