What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reservationist/Guest Relations position at SULLIVAN PROPERTIES?
West Maui, HI- Sullivan Properties Inc. is seeking a full time Reservationist/Guest Relations. We are a Real Estate, Vacation Rental and Management Company located on West Maui. $20-$24
Job duties to include:
· Vacation rental software knowledge and experience a plus (Escapia)
· Accurately inputting, changing and cancelling reservations
· Answer incoming telephone calls and email inquiries with complete follow-through
· Assist our team with trouble-shooting the inevitable hiccups that arise in the accommodations industry
· Display proficiency and ability to multi-task between various computer applications.
· Process rental payments and general admin work
· Add reviews to website and reply as needed
· Make welcome packets for the expected arrivals
· Call guest prior to arrival and confirm they have all proper information/directions
· Provide and drive own vehicle from office to property/unit locations.
· Have thorough knowledge of all room categories (location/view type)
· Extensive knowledge of the ins/outs of west Maui are a big plus
· Prepare and complete Housekeeping reports, property arrival reports and other reports as assigned.
· Take pride in presenting a professional image; wear proper attire, and adhere to company grooming and personal appearance policy.
· Ability to collaborate on our monthly newsletter
· Willingness to cross train and learn other areas of the business

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
· Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis
· Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment
· Must be able to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment
REQUIREMENTS
· Education: High School diploma or equivalent
· Experience: Minimum 1 year of resort, hotel experience, customer service experience required
· Hours Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday 9:00 am -3:00pm
· Escapia software a plus
