Painter/Inventory Clerk

PAINTER/BLASTER/INVENTORY CLERK

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITES

• Follow all principles and practices of painting, powder coating and blasting, including prepping parts for coating and operating all equipment including paint guns, hoppers and booth collection systems.
• Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
• Determine quality by performing visual inspections or by using coating thickness gauge.
• Ensure that all components are produced/painted/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
• Ensure quality standards/processes and safety guidelines are used throughout facility.
• Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare shipments for delivery to customers and ensure necessary paperwork is ready.
• Pull from stock raw materials and finished goods as needed for product assembly.
• Bag and tag parts orders for shipping.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years experience painting/blasting, in a manufacturing environment
• Inventory and parts picking experience a plus
• High school diploma/GED
• Mechanical aptitude a must
• Ability to lift/move 100 pounds
• Forklift experience/certification a plus
• Clean driving record/background check
