What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paving/Sealing Crew Laborer position at Sullivan Paving Co Inc?
Full Time / Seasonal (April to December)
Sullivan Paving Co. Inc. is hiring($25-40.00/hr) a hardworking, reliable worker to join our paving & sealing crews. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position working alongside operators and foremen on residential and commercial paving projects.
Experience in asphalt paving is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
● Shoveling, raking, and leveling asphalt
● Assisting operators with paving machine, roller, skid steer, and grader
● Site prep and cleanup including operating backpack blower, weedwacker, etc
● Traffic control and job site setup
● General labor and crew support as needed
Requirements:
● Ability to work in hot outdoor conditions
● Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
● Dependable team player with good attitude
● Valid driver’s license required
● OSHA 10 certification preferred (not required)
● Construction or paving experience preferred (not required)
