Autonomous Vehicle Operator – Part-Time
Location: Grand Rapids, MN
Pay: $23/hour $500 Sign-On Bonus
Schedule: Part-Time, up to 30 hours/week
Hours: Shifts available between 10 AM–9 PM, 7 days/week
We are hiring Autonomous Vehicle Operators to help safely monitor self-driving vehicles while providing transportation to passengers.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor the self-driving vehicle and surrounding traffic
- Take manual control when needed for safety
- Assist passengers, including riders using wheelchairs
- Complete vehicle safety inspections
- Keep the vehicle clean and ready for service
- Record trip information and vehicle events using digital tools
- Provide friendly customer service
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license held continuously for 3 years
- Good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable using computers/mobile technology
- Able to lift, push, or assist with 30–50 lbs.
- Available for 1–2 weeks of required training
- Must follow a strict no-phone policy while operating
- Must pass background check, MVR check, and drug/alcohol screening, including THC
Driving or customer service experience is preferred.
This is not a traditional driving job. The vehicle drives autonomously most of the time. Your main responsibility is monitoring the vehicle, keeping passengers safe, and taking control only when necessary.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
