About the role
The Loan Coordinator position is a critical part of our team, ensuring smooth mortgage processing, assisting clients throughout their home financing journey, and supporting our Loan Consultants. This role involves direct interaction with clients and coordination with various professionals, including loan officers, lenders, real estate agents, title companies, insurance agents, and underwriters.
To be successful in this position you’ll need exceptional organization, problem solving skills, and the ability to navigate multiple software systems. This position works in a fast-paced environment, and at times has critical deadlines.
Location: In person position working out of our HQ 1222 N Pennsylvania St. Indianapolis, IN 46202.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Processing & Support: Assist Loan Consultants with tasks required to process and complete mortgage applications.
Client Communication: Work directly with clients to collect missing information, ensuring smooth and timely loan processing.
File Documentation & Review: Collect and verify necessary documentation (e.g., pay stubs, W2s, VOEs, title work, tax bills, letters of explanation, etc.), reviewing for accuracy
Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Anticipate potential issues and proactively address them by reviewing underwriting conditions, advocating for clients, and resolving processing challenges.
Pipeline & Status Updates: Maintain clear communication with the team regarding loan status updates and processing timelines.
