ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continue the tradition of fostering a comprehensive, articulated fine arts education program in grades 9th-12th.
- The teacher must design lessons that cultivate self-expression and engage students in a process that develops self-motivation necessary for success in life.
- Must be able to implement an art curriculum emphasizing direct experiences with a variety of media to promote the creative and expressive production of art.
- Carry out assessments and product presentations that recognize the natural artistic development of children and also encourages growth by increasing perception and skills in the manipulation of ideas and materials.
- Ability to manage classroom environment conducive to student learning and flexibility to work with several grade levels schedules and routines.
- Knowledge of the Fine Arts Grade Level Expectations.
- Commitment to Professional Development and school-wide improvement initiatives.
