Licensed Practical Nurse PRN
Job Summary:
Vandalia Healthcare & Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
Work closely with physicians, care team partners, residents, and family members to deliver personalized care
Availability for day-shift coverage (6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. or 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.) with Thursday availability preferred; weekend shifts may also be available
Requirements:
Valid LPN or RN license
Relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting
Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and ability to navigate electronic health record systems
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and team members
